2018’s Cities & States with the Highest & Lowest Uninsured Rates

With the national uninsured rate back on the rise, growing to 12.2% in Q4 2017 from 10.9% in Q4 2016, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on 2018’s Uninsured Rates by City as well as accompanying videos and by State as well as accompanying videos.

WalletHub compared the rates for 547 U.S. cities and the 50 states, in addition to a breakdown by age, race/ethnicity and income level. The following are some highlights from the reports:
